The High Stability Mesoporous MgOZrO2 Materials as CO2

A novel CO2 absorbent, MgOZrO2 nanocomposite was synthesized via appropriate solgel process. The structure and surface properties of the asprepared materials were characterized by XRD, N2 adsorptiondesorption and CO2TPD techniques. It was found the asprepared materials showed high thermal stability, and their mesoporous framework was well preserved even after calcinations at 700oC.

The unburned carbon concentrates were collected at purities ranaging up to 62 % at recoveries of 62 %.
